Look on list. Chris was like why did Ploy give Elizabeth 1 patient? I say, "cause me and Ploy are like 'this'" I then say Eva can give me any of her patients besides this certain patient... She gave me this other, which is just as horrible. Well maybe not...
So 1 patient is going for the OR, so I'm scutting to get all the preop stuff done, which isn't my job... I spotted the H&P wasn't done, but I didn't say anything... Pike told the nurse to page the intern. So she did it, I helped. Gave her the labs and the Hx I had, the CXR, which the other intern made me go get read. I think he remembered the fact that I didn't check the comp before hand... Anyway, other patient went down to rad as well. When I discover she's back up, I do my note. I go to rad... File is in the OR. OK... Later I'm like... She's not scheduled for the OR... Maybe the doc is operating on someone else and wanted to see... Check again later. No record of it being done, but I saw her come down... Get the file room lady to look it up. Patient refused. OK... So go up, about to write an addendum. Intern is there. She refused? That's what they said... Eventually I got back down, ask the tech. Yup. Refused. NB. This woman is kookie... Dementia. Dr. Nord later asks me what's up with it. I'm like they said she refused. He was like they're just all lazy. Exactly. But what can I do? So she's scheduled to go again tomorrow cause she ate. I was pretty much done early in the day, got some reading in, pleasure and study. Go me!
Saw Dimitry a lot. He's on medicine now. At one point he asked me to ask the unit secretary to punch a hole in something, but I didn't hear right, neither did she... I thought he wanted her to expedite the order. She to call it down. Woops. He then later asked me about a patient, who wasn't on the list... For a resident to come down, do a surg / gyn consult so this patient could be discharged. I paged the intern... He's like I can't talk to an intern, call the resident. Uh... No. First off he's on medicine, I'm on surg. Sorry, if that sounds... Rude or whatever... He's no longer my intern. Maybe he was stressed, but it just seemed like he was forcing me. Maybe if he asked nicely. Haha... Maybe cause he knows my name... He had some med student following him all day. Why couldn't he get him to scut? Either way, it's my understanding... It should be intern to intern, resident to resident. If he needed a resident to do it, he should have informed his resident to get a resident. He didn't want an intern cause they wouldn't know what the plan would be.
Lol. A nurse asked me if I do ABGs. I said no... I mean, I can do it, but once again... Not my patient, not my job. She thought I hadn't learn that yet. Haha... I'm the queen on ABGs!

Eva informed me Obi has a girlfriend. That surprises me... Asking me if I date outside my race. Why my type is. Why I play hard to get. How many children I want...
Oh yeah, then the intern kept asking me where Obi was. I have no clue. We usually can't find him any day.

Heard my former classmate chatting it up. She's said she grew up *in* Long Island. Who lives *in* LI??? I live *on* it... Then she was saying she doesn't know where to do IM. Someone suggested Kings Country. She's like I heard it was good... Someone then mentioned they're not allowed till 4th year. Well she certainly isn't gonna get the A5 rotation cause that's Ross only. Maybe cause I was there like 24/7... But I don't remember seeing anyone besides downstate. Certainly no one but downstate / Ross that came to the floor. And the downstate people were jealous they did nothing and we did everything.
Still thinking about that Flip party... If Ploy asks and says she's going I'll go. I mean, I'm prepping to sleep at Woodmere. Got my clothes for the party. But at the same time... I don't want to prep / run around / stay in Woodmere.
God... I'm so sleepy. I think I slept at 9:30 yesterday and then woke up late at 5. Sleepy while driving. 6 more weeks... God... If I stay in Woodmere... I mean, yeah I have like almost zero interaction at home, but even more so in Woodmere. Home is good...
Oh yeah. So we've got 3 new interns. What is this!?! First we've got... 1 Ukrainian, 1 of Georgian decent, but American, and... 1 from Kazakhstan. Now we've got 3 Indian chicks! Anyway, it's the first week, practically 2nd day... We're like teaching them the ropes. How we just do progress notes. They write orders, preops and post ops, etc, etc.
