Back at work today.
Well, Marna asked how the snow was and I said not that bad. And she left it at that. Well she did mention that the snow was light, but stayed. But she didn't ask what I had done all day or anything, so I didn't have to be avoidant nor lie.
7500centfish texted around 5:45 saying they were leaving Korea soon. Didn't have time to galavant in the airport. Thankful they made it to Korea and on their way to the Philippines.
I briefly saw the aunts when they came down for breakfast. They've been eating Mom's waffles. I left as they were lounging on the couch / Mom's chair. They just came down to eat dinner as well.

I was playing #fashionshow and asked 7500centfish for advice on what I should wear to the shindig last night. I just had jeans and a sweat shirt on. But the tshirt I had underneath was popping through the neck hole and I thought it looked weird. 7500centfish said it looked fine. Anyway, 7500centfish was also on the phone with Jennie so she told her all about where I was going. Well 7500centfish mentioned church. But then said something about the Men of St. E / possibly being the only girl. Anyway... I wonder what Jennie was saying / thinking on her end. Does she think I'm a complete nut or... Is it accepted? Elizabeth being Elizabeth? Lol. In Las Vegas she was sitting next to my makeshift #prayerspace. I was also in the shower singing to Matt Maher. HAHAHHA!!!
Another thing I wanted to mention about the thing last night... As I said we had 1 guy in our group and he mentioned he was part of the Mens group. The one woman who kept looking at me said she was kinda jealous that the guys got together and they had a full day retreat. The women should have the same. I kinda felt the same way. Not kinda... The woman next to me was like let Fr. I know, etc. At the same time... I worry it will be all emotions, feelings and not intellect. Like I don't know what went on during the Men's conference. Maybe they did talk about emotions and stuff. But... That's not my idea of growing in the faith.
Trevor Williams (? sorry Catholic Athletes for Christ!) posted a photo 2 chaplains. One of them being the NYM's! As I've said, I always wondered who the Mets chaplain was. We had the Islanders chaplain say Mass for us once in a while back in the day. He, like this chaplain is pretty much tied to the seminary. Fr. Joe Holcomb.
My life has been a lie! The aunts brought back polvoron and on the box it's described as Philippine short bread. WHAT!?! Lies!!!
