I froze.
I've been to confession so many times. I last went 3 weeks ago and... I froze. I honestly didn't know what to say / how to start. It was probably only a second, but it felt like a long time... I even looked at my cheat sheet and almost started reading off it. But then I took a deep breath and said "Forgive me Father for I have sinned..." I then stumbled over my words. Ugh. Anyway, afterward, I went out the back? side entrance and walked over to the grotto. No names yet... But I wonder if they are adding more bricks that will have the names or just the bricks they have on a platform. Because... It's not a lot. Like in HH basically the entire front of the church is paved with names. That would be weird if like our fam was 1 of the few names. Not like we're active in the parish in that sense...
Anyway... Marna and co invited me and my coworkers to see the Christmas lights at Jones beach and... I'm honestly tired. And I still have to do my laundry, my Christmas cards, etc, etc. I've been procrastinating so much! I already told Mom I'm sending her to church to drop off my present for Fr. I and Bruno. HAHAHAHa!!! Anyway, I already told Marna and Dr. L I couldn't meet them at 4. His plan was to pot luck, but he gave us $40 each to buy food. I heard Gloria has plans too, so... Yeah, I'm too tired.
They came. Bought my gift cards. LOL!!! I sent Tito Abe to buy my gift card to him! When he gave it to me in the mall Tita Neng was asking for the receipt. I'm like... It's OK, hinting at he's the one who needs to know the value. HAHAHA!!! At the end they found it. I'm like, just keep it. I got Jennie and co VS gift cards and Tita Jhulia a GC from The Loft. I usually see her with a bag from there... I then entered in my number and Mom came up. So I gave her some reward points.
I was craving a burger or sandwich with a lot of lettuce... But we ate at IHOP, so I defaulted to my french toast combo.
Tried to start my Christmas cards. I pretty much just organized who's getting which card. But I don't know what to write. One already has my typical greeting about Rejoicing. I might add a New Years greeting.
