7500centfish told me to be productive...
I was doing my laundry, but falling asleep in Tita Carmen's chair as I was watching youtube vids. But 7500centfish told me to be productive so I updated my files, my reading progress, balanced my "check book".
As I said, I paid off part of loan and can start paying it myself, if Mom is correct I only owe about 60% of what I was giving Mom. But I wonder... Should I continue to pay that much and pay my loan sooner? Or save up? Mom thinks I should initially pay only what is owed and I agree, but in the long run? Also... I remember Mom would get letters asking what to do with x money... Because I think they were saying she was overpaying when they were applying the money to the wrong loan at times, so... If I'm gonna get those letters monthly, I'd rather not. In other news... I'm almost "paid up" with my borrowing into Dad's money. I hadn't been taking money for my car and paying back into it the money I took to tide me over when I was off from work / working part time. It's also a 3 paycheck month which gives me extra spending money... cc 7500centfish
Anyway, they came. I was expecting us to go to Queens and eat out with the cousins to celebrate Tita Evelyn's bday. But we ended up eating at Red Lobster. She was asking me where I wanted to eat. I couldn't think of a place and almost defaulted to "Cheese Factory", but Tito Abe decided The Lobster of Red. We then drove all the way to the LIE, like our entrance instead of taking the Northern to Deer Park Ave or whatever the exit would be. I ended up getting Fish and Chips in honour of the Queen. No malt vinegar... 🙄
Lol. When I met up with them Tita Neng asked if Red Lobster was OK. Yes. "But you want to go to confession!" I went last week! It's Mom that wants to go! But then when Tita Neng asked Mom she denied it and said it is I. I mean... OK, if you want to use me as a shield... Either way we got home around 2:30.
Like I said, they were asking me where we should eat. I then texted 7500centfish where we should eat. She suggested the place we tried to eat at that has an hour wait. "Tita Evelyn laughed" I later added "You're not here. They are poo pooing."

Their description doesn't seem to add anything to the "story" at least at first glance. Then all this was happening during WWII and they talk of how the Vatican appeared to be neutral when they were actually aiding the Allies and helping the Jews, etc.
I had the sudden urge to play POTO and... I don't know how to play the piano any more! (Not entirely true... I'd have to whip out the sheet music and it will probably come back quickly, but muscle memory alone isn't working.)
