Pete Alonso is Catholic!
I mean, Catholic enough to get married in the Church... Semi not surprised considering his Grandfather is from Spain. Google also tells me his father went to Catholic school and Pete got inducted into his grade school Hall of Fame, also Catholic. But you know kids these days... Trying to play "Name that Saint" with the pic his wife posted. Looks like he's holding a spear in his right hand and something in the left, but I can't see clearly. And by "Name that Saint" I mean, where is this church??? Other pictures say it's in Miami. STALKER!!! Yeah, I wish him the best and many Catholic babies!!! Lol. I just looked at his wiki. Jesuit HS... Anyway, I also remembered Fr. Nathan mentioned him on CSYSK, praying if he wasn't already Catholic to become.
It's also sparkyboy's Feast Day. I mean, I assumed it was his actually name saint, considering his name is Albert and his feast day is close to his berfday... Tita Neng confirmed in on Family Chat. Lol. For some reason when I first heard his name was Albert, I assumed it was a temporary name, because who names their kid Albert!?!
Random note. Today's Bible In A Year coincided with today's Mass readings, about the Blind man begging for Jesus. I think next year they're planning to do it in Spanish. But I think they should continue with Mass readings / homilies at some point.
I learned how to make an Instagram story from watching a youtube vid. Basically I was afraid to hit "done" because I thought it would post, but no it was to just finalize that design feature. So... I did my adoration post. I also went to the singing part of the song and got a good clip of that, instead of the instrumental version I wanted which cut off at a weird point / didn't have a clean beginning. I was gonna post it as a post as well, but then there wouldn't be music. Also everyone I wanted it seen by saw it. Plus it's in my highlights, so... Also thinking of doing a #CatholicMeme dump at some point. I kinda want to post this, "Three words every girl wants to hear" thing after confession, but... Yeah. I think a meme dump is a better place. I also want to post something Fr. Sciarappa posted about incense, like if you're in mortal sin it makes you cough. Just I need to find it!
I forgot my extra bag at home when I went to work. I have like all this junk in it... An extension cord, extra earphones, usb charger in case I forget those things... But most of all I have hand lotion and body spray. And I smelt like bacon! Then fried chicken! I hate smelling like food. Also my hands were dry. Ugh. I should probably just leave it in my trunk over the weekend.
