Zombies on I-495
Well, I made it home.
I'm completely and totally knackered, but it was soooo worth it. My trip to see mac_lynn was so much fun but all good things come to an end and I am now safely at home with the hubs and two kitty girls. My kitties showered me with snuggles and kisses and my hubby had arrived home before me and cleaned up my bathroom so that I could shower while he went to get takeout for dinner. Yummy dinner of tofu teriyaki and then pigging out on the kringles that mac sent home with us. Oh my goodness were those yummy. It's kind of funny that when I checked my mileage it came to exactly 1700 miles when I pulled into my garage. What are the odds?
Hopefully I will be more lucid tomorrow. Apparently my teacher called my husband yesterday to make sure that I would be going to class Wednesday. Funny thing is, sometimes I do much better with japanese if I'm so tired that I can't think straight. Ayako's theory is that I tend to overthink things. I do pretty well if I'm wacked out on my migraine meds too. Go figure.
I have a few more ideas that I'm jotting down for my story and then it's off to bed so that I can really get cracking on it bright and early tomorrow.
Sorry for the ramble. At least I remembered to use a cut this time. Hope all of you had a lovely day. I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone now that I have email again. Yay!
