Writing
I *miss* writing.
The answer (some people say) is to write. But I can't. I try, and the words don't come, or I get tangled up in logistics, or something.
I have stuff that I want to work on, except that because I don't really get new plot ideas any more (which comes from not writing), most of it is stuff with existing writing, so on top of the process of writing being like *pulling teeth* only less fun, I have a paralyzing fear of breaking it.
Current wips:
MCU+X-Men -- Charles helping de-mindwipe Bucky. Decently active in my head, but not likely to get written before Age of Ultron comes out
Stargate -- Daniel crossing into a quantum AU. Was going to be done for stargate_summer but I ended up bailing on that. Still, it's decently outlined, more than I remember.
Star Trek AOS -- Kirk/Spock pon farr sorta-dubcon fic, beginning written. Spacejumping lessons. And I swear I had more AOS bunnies argh.
XMFC kinkmeme -- oh so much. amnesia fic, mindwipe fic, journey 'verse (always disabled charles), double erik porn, charles in coma with erik standing vigil, plus like 20 more flagged as plausible but without anything written, and *these are all prompts from 2011 who even cares any more* sob
XM DOFP kinkmeme -- soulbond, plus four potential prompts, and there probably would be more if I looked through prompt lists (I only trawled through once shortly after dofp came out).
SPN -- blue moon fic (which a 2008 fic update said I had the first and last parts of but I can only find the first part), wsnb fic (95% written but needs an ending), possibly also the ahbl crossover with the dragaera 'verse, all so very oldschool spn does anyone even care about fics without angels and anyway they've probably done flashbacks (since I stopped watching) that joss the hell out of the blue moon fic
vagrant story -- this thing but probably super dormant since I cab't play the game any more to get back into the mood
vr5 -- post-series Oliver-centric thing-without-name that is so unlikely to get written (or have anyone interested in it) that why is it even on this list
original stuff, sorta -- 50 shades of ace, aka fanfic of horrible fanfic of horrible fic, aka 50sog as done with an asexual but kinky female protag and a sexual kinky *not-a-stalker* male who is not skeevy as fuck ahem; started as nano one year but never got very far but still want to write it
original stuff -- the nano project of high school totally-not-xmen boarding school for kids with powers, and a disabled protag
So much of that stuff is so old omg. I just ... I feel like such a failure at writing, but I can't remember how.
