Right.

So, I left the horrors of Missouri to vacation at the Poppleton family reunion in Delaware.  Brewer's mother is one of six siblings and they all showed up at this reunion, which is apparently a first in several years.  The most interesting member by far was the youngest sister, Joan, from Alaska.  She looks and walks and acts just like Brewer's mom, only she's a foot shorter and her voice is an octave deeper from the smoking.  She took a shining to me and I took a shining to her and her sons.  Her ex-husband was Filipino, so her two sons are short and dark; she calls them Flips.  The younger, Scott, is a gangster in training and has had many brushes with the law.  He's not the brightest bulb, but he's nice.  The older, John, is a smartass and we all know how much I love smartasses.  We spent the week reading mythology books, correcting Scott, and pretending to hit each other.  He also identified himself as a "pop culture whore", which just endeared him to me more.  He has some anger issues, considering he threw a chair at his brother and broke off part of the wall, but he's calm otherwise.  On the last day, Joan woke me up by putting a fart machine by my door, which I chucked at her.  She has declared me an official Poppleton.

Since then, Brewer and I (and now Randi) have been looking for apartments.  That's honestly about all we do all day.  That and drink soda.

Anyone remember "Milo and Otis"?  I love that movie.

Also, everyone should listen to this song, particularly if you like Imogen Heap.  Grey's Anatomy fans should recognize some of her songs.
