Catching up
Long time no... write
I've been busy of course. Since the 12th of march I'm doing an internship in a newspaper called Le Progrès in Lyon.
It's... cool. Well not cool. But it's work, it's nice not to be sitting on my ass all day. I can write quite a lot. Sometimes to much. Last week was hectic.
Now it's a long week end and I'm back in Rennes until monday night. It's great to be home.
Two weeks ago, I was there too. But I was sick. A larhyngistis, which is a pain in the.. neck ! I couldn't speak, litterally. I had no voice. It happenened on a Thursday. I was at work, I throat ached and suddenly I had no voice. I couldn't utter a sound. Scary.
The doctor told me I was forbidden to talk for a few days. Believe me when I say it's torture. You can't communicate. In private life it's simply horrible. My friends were mocking me and my pad (I used it to write when I couldn't sign). Profesionnally it's worse. I couldn't work. Except for some liitle stuff taken in press releases. And jokes like "Isa, could you call this associa... no you can't !"
After some cortisone and no talk. My voice is back, deeper and still a little unstable. Well...
Anyway, catch up time done... Next stop, Management the 23rd in April. After the first "tour" in the presidential election. I can't wait, but I'm scared. Anticipation is the word.
