Quick update while my phone charges enough to last the night...
WOOHOO! I gave blood today and didn't pass out! This one act is filled with accomplishments for me. First of all, I was defered last week because my iron count was too low, but apparently I got that under control. Secondly, last time I donated I fainted - so there's another accomplishment for me.
Fun things in my life...
I have an interview next Thursday for a job as a House Fellow (RA for those of you who go to a college with normal terms for their housing employees). I'm kind of nervous. I really want this job, but it is SUPER competitive. Part of the interview is a group interview in which I have to demonstrate my amazing leadership skills by leading an ice breaker activity. This is the part that I am the most nervous about. I think that ice breakers are lame! Haha, I guess I'll just have to fake it.
Also, I'm in the process of applying for two summer programs (in the hopes that I'll get into one). One as an intern in Parliament in London, the other as an intern in Washington DC. I'm not sure if I'm actually ready for or qualify for either of these programs, but hey, why not give it a shot.
OH! Also, I've started going to this church on campus with Kali (my roommate) and I've signed up to go on a Habitat for Humanity trip in Florida over Christmas break. It involves 7 days of building and 3 days on the BEACH! I'm really excited!
