Day 3 of Recovery
It's only been three days since my tonsillectomy, and I think today has been the worst of all. So far. It's not so much the pain in my throat, but the nausea and lightheaded feeling. It also doesn't help that my desire to eat is at rock-bottom, and even though it's normal after a surgery, losing over ten pounds in two days wasn't so fun.
Asides from that--between anchoring myself to the mattress, falling asleep in the shower and avoiding the topic of food--I find myself with plenty of time to work on the numerous WIPs I have sitting around (either my room or my hard-drive.)
So. We're excited, right? 48 days until the release of you-know-what.
Another thing to place on the optimism-pile is I have really good news! I haven't mentioned it, but a friend and I have been hunting for a decent apartment for September, and we finally found one! It's actually very pretty, and well-decorated. By decoration, I don't mean the current occupant's belongings, but the really nice tile flooring, and interesting layout. It is on the small side, but overall, I think we got a good deal.
I think we'll be heading up there on Victoria Day, so I'll remember to bring my camera. :]
