Because it's right there, in your head, that's how. [She pouts, but she'll explain anyhow.] TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. A time machine, some might say, though I find that explanation to be a bit of an oversimplification. My mind doesn't work the way most do-- and neither does yours, it seems.
