Last night i got home from Florida. My Mum took me away for my 21st birthday present, as i won't be able to see her on my birthday. She took me to swim with Dolphins. It took us over 6 hours to drive there, and Tuesday after noon, once we arrived we went to Sea World for the afternoon and to check it out.
Wednesday was spent at Discovery Cove the most amazing place ever. They only allow 1000 people in a day, so it never gets crowded like the other resorts or theme parks, and here, you can swim with Dolphins. We were in the first group and spent 30minutes with a Dolphin called Neo. We got to stroke him, kiss him, swim and get pulled along by him, it was truely fantastic, i have never experienced anything like it, and the Dolphins most definatly know how much joy they give people, they have so much fun. After our time was up we spent the rest of the day snorkelling with tropiacal fish and rays....just awesome. This place is truely amazing.
In the evening we went to Hard Rock at Universal City and Thursday was spent at Sea World. I went to Florida back in '92, and don't remember a great deal about it. But i know Orlando wasn't a dump. It truely is now, it's amazing how places can change. I cannot understand why someone would wan't to take their holiday in Orlando. It's truely horrid, all built up, it's like a very cheap Vegas or Branson, yuck. If i ever goto Florida again it will be to Disney or Dicovery Cove, Sea World, but I will most definatly stay outside of Orlando.
Anyway, here are a selection of some of my favorite photos (i took around 300).
