☁ international family: some people care too much, i think it's called love

america; all children, except one, grow up

His precious little brother had grown up into a lardy idiot. Nevertheless, he considers America a close ally, and he is unusually loyal to his friends. Though he attempts to keep a mild friendship, he is still both too heartbroken and in love to ever make this relationship any less than it's complicated.

canada; to be or not to be

His cute little brother, Canada has always been a loyal and polite lad. Though occasionally startled by his outbursts, he is fond of Canada, even if he gets too loud and rowdy and starts talking about comic books and action figures and archaeology and quick draw of all things, and really, he... right. Canada.

links;

journal;

seychelles; the lady doth protest too much

England patiently tends to Seychelles, and worries after her accordingly. Though annoyed she expressed romantic interests towards France, he still awkwardly understands that she is having emotional difficulties in Mayfield. He sees her as a child, and doesn't quite understand her eyes turning towards him in a different light.

links;

journal;

hong kong; and all the brothers too

England considers Hong Kong a brat who loves firecrackers too much. Though he is easily aggravated by Hong Kong's sarcastic jibes, he honestly cares for the island. He doesn't understand that Hong Kong is no longer his colony, and treats him according. Nevertheless, he appreciates his aid in making the borscht in Westgrad, and wants his house to always be welcoming to him.

links;

journal;
meme;

australia; let it be, let it be

He is easily aggravated by Australia, who he can't quite seem to tame with proper manners. Australia's strange familiarity to wild animals sets him on edge, but on the whole, he gets along well with him, despite his flagrant disregard to respect his elders. He is fond of him and hopes that he'll keep out of trouble in Mayfield, or at least for some consecutive days.

☁ international relations: you can't stay in your corner of the forest; you have to go to them sometimes

russia; an "iron curtain" across the Continent

England considers Russia with deep and great resentment. He has no trouble in finding revenge at the littlest things to show his superiority after all his years of anguish. Furthermore, that lardy pillock seems to have a fascination with his arse. He's also been a pain more than once with America. Honestly, those two are like schoolchildren...

links;

journal;
meme;

liechtenstein; europe was created by history

She shares his love in embroidery, and he certainly respects that in any person. He's pleasantly oblivious to her sharp-witted tongue, and remains on acceptable terms with her as they embroider together in the stitches of Mayfield. He also grows slightly concerned for her safety when she insists on doing dangerous things, like working in a maid cafe. Is that sort of thing really all right?

links;

journal;
meme;

norway; the old words best of all

Though his relationship with Norway could be bumpy, they are still two fairy like-minded countries. He regards the country as slightly strange, though he sympathizes with Norway being turned into a little fairy at one time. Though his troll is a bit eccentric and seems liable to scare away his own little fairies, their ethereal creatures otherwise get along strangely.

links;

journal;
meme;

iceland; a fish. he smells like a fish

Though the Cod Wars haven't started for him yet, he's still weary about the fishy country. However, despite himself, he's been pleased by Iceland's lies and suffering about how his scones taste well. He might not altogether trust that country or his little suspicious puffin, but when it comes to scones, well... at least somebody thinks they're good, right?

links;

journal;
meme;

rome; i came, i saw, i overcame

Stupid old man! Not only did Rome conquer and leave, but he still insists on being the embarrassing pseudo-grandfather that England never wanted. He gets into fights, sends him fifty useless pamphlets of terrible pictures, and insults him even in his time of need. Not that he cared, idiot!

links;

journal;
meme;

denmark; something is rotten

That excitable idiot... Not only does he seem to be from the future, but he continues to be abrasive as ever in this small community. Whenever he looks, that idiot seems to be up to some trouble or another, and always up to no good at all. It can't be helped, of course, not everybody could be as focused and dignified as himself, really, and... what was he talking about?

links;

journal;

finland; nobody shoots at santa claus

Despite himself, England is slightly envious of Finland's strange relationship with Sealand. He attempts to remain professional despite their awkward relations, and otherwise gingerly gets along with him, what with saunas and the like. He appreciates Finland's hard work as Santa Claus accordingly.

links;

journal;

prussia; we are muddled into war

The war-hungry country appears to be literally from the past. England, however, doesn't mind, and feels mildly comforted that Prussia is so bent on beating up France. There doesn't need to be complicated relationships for that. Even if Prussia doesn't believe in his fairies, or the fact that his breasts would be bigger than Prussia's if he was a girl.

links;

journal;

roshia; wrapped in a mystery

Russia's counterpart. He regards her with strange fascination, as his relationship just wasn't very good with Russia. He's still not sure what to make of her, other than she appears to be convinced that he's crazy. But fairies are real, so she's absolutely wrong. Besides, he doesn't get drunk all that often, just... on the occasion. Occasionally.

links;

journal;

hinomoto; continue until peace is concluded

She is female Japan. It is important to note this. He is fond of her company and believes her to be gentle, and stops by to ask her how she's doing (ecchi) every so often. He makes sure to say hello (hentai) to her on the streets, and he is sympathetic to her plight, since she had been in rabu rabu kisu kisu with Japan... and in wanker wanker kya ero ero japan japan, apparently. He tries to be understanding.

links;

journal;

☁ mayfield family: i used to believe in forever, but forever was too good to be true

sophie hatter;
i thought we ought to live happily ever after

His lovely wife is a likable lady from his literature. He sees Sophie as a practical-minded woman who possesses strength and courage. He's pleased that she's magical but he has adopted too fully into his assigned role in Mayfield. He's saddened by her practical reminders that she is already married. In the household, she has been a source of strength for the children, though he views her as a child, and sees nothing wrong with acts of fondness towards her.

links;

journal;
meme;

tiffany aching;
terrible spelling, but not bad for a daisy

A practical-minded girl from his literature, he is overly fond of Tiffany and attempts to treat her as a much younger girl than she is. He's pleased that she's a witch and also believes in magic, but feels frustrated when faced with her "rebellions" of freedom and her reckless ideas. Nevertheless, she has proven to be a strong girl who has supported him in his times of sadness, and he wishes to take care of her.

links;

journal;
meme;

sealand; it sounds like uncommon nonsense

England acts as a patient caretaker for this micronation who wants to be acknowledged as a country. Sealand has been assigned to be his son in Mayfield, but he considers Sealand as a loud little brother. Nevertheless, he is honestly concerned about his "son", especially with his traumatic events at Westport and run-ins with violent strangers.

links;

journal;

france; their rivalry was hundreds of years old

France? As a child? Absurd. But his new son gives him no space to breathe. He remembered it correctly, after all; that prat never did grow any more mature or any less condescending. On the other hand, it's frustrating that France refuses to admit that his little brother is grown up... and even more difficult to stay with the one person who could make him feel so old and so childish at the same time.

links;

journal;
meme;

woody; it was the joy that mattered

A little toy that had wandered into his home, England is unsure what to make of the talking toy. Still, he awkwardly welcomes the new "pet" of the household, and hopes the little toy does not get into too much trouble during his stay.

links;

journal;

☁ mayfield friends: it's so much more friendly with two

vince; you've gone wrong in your mind tank

His worrisome citizen, to say the least. Vince's oblivious optimism and idiocy always befuddles him. Though he prides himself on being far more mature, in the end they wind up in horrible face-drawing window-punching drunk hijinks. And for all his frustrated mutterings, it is rather nice to have a friend... not that he would ever admit that.

links;

journal;
meme;
beet;

may lee; now war is declared

America's girlfriend. Though he is slightly aggravated that America didn't follow his advice and wait until he was 500 before thinking about girls, he nevertheless accepts that May Lee was the adventurous and good sort of girl who would make a pleasant friend. Still, though, he'd rather America just wait a few hundred more years, honestly, that idiot.

links;

journal;
meme;

saber; i understand ye must be king of this land

His Once and Future King is apparently a... girl. Very nice girl, mind, but it's startling altogether. Still, he understands her and takes her seriously enough. She even helped in mending some bumpy patches of his international relationships.

links;

journal;
meme;

velvet; a gown the colour of storms

A sweet girl who knows Cornelius. Or, rather, seemed to be in some love business with him before he turned into a widdle bunny rabbit. He remembers her most from Westport, where he nearly endangered her in the school. He chides himself for being irresponsible, and will try to keep an eye out for her future.

links;

journal;

cornelius; flopsy, mopsy, and cotton-tail

The Pooka who lives in Russia's house. Corenlius's unending optimism for Russia is a source of irritation, especially considering he had been kicked out of the house and suffered from other harsh attacks. Still, though, Cornelius has since turned to their side. Now England's main worry is how often he pets the widdle rabbit...

links;

journal;
meme;

howl; cut up all my suits to teach me

An enemy of sorts. Already being Sophie's husband is a source of deep resentment for him, and he considers the mere identity as a threat. He attempts to be professional and courteous, but always ends up on the bitter side of his own attitude.

links;

journal;

conchita; don't dig your grave with knife and fork

A lady with the greatest taste. She eats his abominations and still calls them delicious! Even if she has a strange tendency towards coffee, he is pleased to find someone who enjoys his cooking. It's nice that at least somebody appreciate his hard work, not that he cares.

links;

journal;

doctor; i'm worse than everyone's aunt

The Doctor. Is there anything more to be said? He's a horrible fanboy of the Doctor, and though there's all this fourth wall business, he's still admires the man for his intergalatic knowledge. Also, he personally believes that bow ties are cool.

links;

journal;

donna; you just want to mate?

His nice lady-friend who seems to pity him. Nevertheless, he enjoys her dashing company. She's playful, strong-minded, and properly sympathetic at all the right times, and she still seems to enjoy his company. It's all very new, but he likes being with her, for all her talk about aliens and different planets and all those other things. Nothing that can't be discussed out over tea.

links;

journal;

nanny ogg; the cause of housework in other people

Tiffany's caretaker, though he knows her best as the florist who recommended that for America's birthday, he should give him a rock with a rune that said "IDIOT." Hard to dislike a person who had such good ideas as that.

links;

journal;

borscht; meltdown expected

He had a short-lived relationship with borscht in Soviet Mayfield. Their relationship could be best known as rivalry at best, sheer hatred at worse.

England doesn't have very many friends.

links;

journal;

☁ children: the more he looked inside, the more piglet wasn't there

aisling; it was like having friends

His little fairy friend. He is delighted to have such a cute little friend who can do no wrong. He adores her and they occasionally play games together, such as learning manners. He hopes that she'll keep safe in the town.

links;

journal;

cirno; it's often infested with nargles

His excitable fairy friend, she seems impressionable and England is all the more eager to impress how "cool" he is on her. They explore the intricacies of analogies together, as he explains tubas and scones, and he considers her a friendly and sociable cute little fairy.

links;

journal;

yui; what about lunch?

He had previously known her and consoled her about Giita, and was always happy to talk to her about guitars and has she ever heard of a band called the Beatles? Even now, he talks to her about Yui, but ah... she seems to be a bit worrisome. Will she really be all right? He'll keep an eye on her.

links;

journal;
meme;

rue; a necklace of broken promises and regret

He is fond of the lost little girl that he befriended. Though he vaguely recognizes her father issues, he is ultimately more concerned about her current safety. He mothers and fathers her with great fondness, and considers his house always open for her. Though she's seen him plenty intoxicated, he's given her a little spinning top, but has never forgotten that he killed her.

links;

journal;
meme;

charles; lord, what fools these mortals be

Charlie the Vampire is his little vampire friend. He's fond of monsters and the like, and Charles fits the spot. Not only that, but the lad seems to be educated in Shakespeare and other fine arts. Still, he can only see him as a little boy, and gives him little teddy bears accordingly. Though he still feels guilty about allowing Minato and Charles to murder each other in Westport...

links;

journal;
meme;
thread;

minato; 'course he isn't safe. but he's good

His cute little ghosty friend. As far as he knows, Minato has twice died, and he even has special magical powers. A very nice and polite boy, he does seem to have an irritating hero complex that reminds England too much of other sacrificial idiots. He gave him a little stuffed unicorn, but... he still feels guilty about allowing Minato and Charles to murder each other in Westport.

links;

journal;
thread;

jane; i am alone and miserable

A little girl who appears to have dealt with traumatic experiences. Despite her claims, he still views her to be very young despite her hundreds of years. He fathers over her protectively, but the subject of her vampirism and her brutality in her work discomforts him. Still, he is fond of her and doesn't mind her sparkling.

links;

journal;
meme;

yuki; genius is born-not paid

She seems to be a very sweet girl, to whom he would be more than happy to talk about cute little bunnies. She also appears to be extremely intelligent, and has taught him much about the definition of tsunderes. Though she seems to be quiet, he is more than happy to fill up the conversation space with his own denial of tsundereness.

links;

journal;

rika; tis but a part we see, and not a whole

America's daughter. He worries over the fact that Al-papa might not be a firm father, and he indulges in being an uncle every once in a while. She seems like an innocent and sweet girl to him, and he would happily give her butterscotch sweets and other happy little things.

links;

journal;
meme;

coraline; it's coraline. not caroline. coraline.

America's other little daughter, he has grown fond of Coraline. She appears to be a spunky girl with ambition, and though he worries about her adventuresome spirit, she is still a nice girl with whom to eat ice cream. He is also guilty of indulging into playing uncle with her, and happily breaks into America's house for her.

links;

journal;

anastasia; i can be a princess inside

Russia's little daughter, she appears to be more than a handful. He resents that she is so faithful to Russia, but he is still unknowingly fond about her and rather wishes that she would be less adventurous and hot-headed. He also rather hopes that she'll grow out of the shin-kicking stage and stop accusing him of stealing the tablecloth. It was only once.

links;

journal;

shiraasan; on wrongs, swift vengeance waits

A little girl who can produce guns from her person. After retrieving appropriate firearms from her, England is still fond of her, and enthusiastically repays her in pancakes and other baked goods. She spat them out and said they were disgusting. However, for him, hope springs eternal. She'll surely like the next batch...

links;

journal;

relm; everything's a story

A rambunctious little girl, England would rather hope that she would be more well-behaved and stop calling him names like "pervert" (honestly, he only said anybody could have some spotted dick) and "old man" (it's all right even if his bones creak a bit when he runs after her, she's just very fast). Still, she draws pretty pictures of fairies and unicorns for him, and he just worries for her.

links;

journal;

elizabeth; the past cannot be cured

The clone of his beloved Queen. Elizabeth seems like a very intelligent and well-mannered girl, and though he's a bit put off that she doesn't find armor or sweater vests fashionable (they are always in fashion!), he cares for her and awkwardly attempts to show his fondness in his own way. It typically fails. Still, he appreciates her kind personality, and hopes that she'll remain safe. And that she'll make fairy friends.

links;

journal;
ngg;
meme;

florence; it should do the sick no harm

She's the clone of Florence Nightingale. Certainly headstrong, he finds her individualism off-putting, and even worse, her prying into his feelings as threatening. But he considers her a kind, gently girl, though he tends to worry about her more than he should. He has also decided she will never marry Napoleon. He would be more than delighted to teach her how to bake scones and sew dresses, though.

links;

journal;
meme;

napoleon; the difference of forty thousand men

He's the clone of Napoleon Bonaparte, and he's somewhat French, to boot. Though England at first tried to put away his prejudices, he quickly realized that grudges can last hundreds of years. Even worse, the boy was obnoxious and made horrible moves on Elizabeth. And Arthur Nightingale-Bonaparte? More like Over His Dead Body. He'll curse him successfully one day, he knows it.

links;

journal;
meme;

pamela; the Ghost of Christmas Present

A cute little ghost who watches cute boys. Though he includes himself into the latter category, he still thinks she is very cute, and finds her ways charming. He also is eager to talk about ghostly things with her, and if recommendations to breaking into houses happen to come up, well, then it's all right. She's a cute ghost, after all.

links;

senjougahara; if they wished i would, i wouldn't

A girl with a scathing intellect. She seems to thrive on insulting him, his identity, his intelligence, his being, his sense of self, with a good dash of mocking and disliking his personality.

For some reason, he still believes he can bring her to like him.

links;

journal;

rabbit; spelling isn't everything

Rabbit! A stuffy little rabbit who lives in America's house. Still, he's from his beloved children's literature, and he always had a deep fondness for those books. And not only that, Rabbit has the tsundere brows! Not only that, Rabbit seems to understand the need for practical order around the parts. He just hopes that the little rabbit knows how to hide well, and doesn't do too lonely without Christopher Robin.

unicorn; and if i brought you the fallen star?

The last unicorn, according to her. He is fond of the unicorn in the neighborhood, and becomes very defensive for her. He hopes one day that he can stroke her soft silky mane and feed her apples. She seems to have a wise personality and a deep kindness, and he is more than excited to befriend a unicorn.
