Wow, its been a long time since I wrote in this thing
I guess that I let myself get a little behind in my journal, but that would be because I have been working about every damn day at either one job or the other. Target is kicking my ass. Standing for 6-8 hours is really hard on my back. THe rec has just been scheduling me pretty often, so I have been doing a lot of driving up to Middleburg. Mommy and I have also been lounging at the outdoor pool at the rec, so I have a tan finally ( at least what is condisered a tan for me!). OH and for those who don't know...
I GOT MY WEDDING DRESS!!!!!!!!!!
It is a beautiful corset style dress with spaghetti straps, a full tulle skirt (those ones with all the gause-y layers) and attached train. I found a gorgeous veil with little flowers made of crystals and seed pearls and white piping around the edges that matches the spaghetti straps. Also, I have a crown that has a vine and flower pattern on it. It is such a princess dress, but it is so beautiful on me! It gives me a great shape and makes me look taller because you can see the stays(the boning) and they give a vertical line. I am so happy that it is taken care of. THe last thing that I really have to schedule before I go to Chicago is the flowers. I have to figure out what to do with those yet. I think that I am going to go with yellow and white wild flowers because they will look nice on the navy croset style bridesmaid dresses that I picked out. (Yes, Navy is not hunter green, but I had to go with what colors they had in the dress I liked) As soon as Jen is back from Germany, I am making her, Emily, Shelly, Katie, and hopefully Cara go shopping so that we can get their dresses. Katie, btw, is a junior bridesmaid now. I wasn't going to go for that whole j.bridesmaid thing, but didn't want to leave her out of hte fun.
Other than the wedding stuff, I have been sick as hell since June. They thought it was just allergies, but no meds help. THen they thought that it was a sinus infection, but even the strongest antibiotic didn't even make a dent in the pain and misery. THen they thought walking pneumonia, but that also came back as negative. Now I am looking at rhinutitus, or however it is spelled. I have been referred to an Ear, Nose and THroat guy to hopefully get something taken care of before I fly to Vegas in exactly 8 days. I get a CT scan on MOnday and then see the doctor on Wednesday to figure out what is wrong iwth me. All I can say is that my face hurts so bad around my eyes that I cannot even touch my face! Hopefully, I can get some relief before the plane ride, but I am not holding my breath on that one.
Ok, I gotta go get ready for work. and Jen....CALL ME!!! I haven't talked to you in ages and want to chat ebfore I leave and you come home!
