Bedroom Games is now available!
Hey everyone! Just a quick note that I’m behind on a few things - like updating my website, answering email, and my Nano projects (yes, more than one). BUT! I remembered the important things…like releasing my next book!
The newest Games book has just hit the virtual ‘stands’. I’ve been wanting to write this particular one since, oh, FOREVER. It’s funny, though! After PLAYING GAMES came out, I started to get a lot of emails asking about Brodie and when he’d get a book. This surprised me, because I’d set Brodie up to be a lovable (in a way!) villain. I mean, who doesn’t have a family member that would sell you down a river to get a little ahead, right? And how can you hate them? They’re family! Brodie was no different. But a hero?
But then I kept thinking about it. Brodie could be a hero…for the right heroine. She’d have to be as sneaky as him, and just as driven. Just as ready to play dirty as he was, but still sensitive and likable enough to want to root for. Kandis sort of popped onto the page and didn’t trust Brodie as far as she could throw him…which is how I knew they were meant to be together.
Here’s a little information about it:
Kandis Thornton isn’t afraid to lie, scheme, and sneak her way to the grand prize money on the Reality TV show, House Guests. That prize money is the only thing keeping her mother from losing her house (and thus moving in with Kandis). She needs that money, and if she has to step on a few people to do so? She’ll do it. House Guests is a show all about outplaying your house-mates, after all, and she’s not there to make friends.
But Kandis didn’t count on the fact that someone else was going to be playing just as hard as her. And she didn’t plan on teaming up with her nemesis, or scheming their way to the top.
Nor did she plan on sleeping with him.
But these things just happen when you’re stuck in a ridiculous house with nothing but time on your hands and a hot guy sharing your bedroom…
