Just got off the phone with this embarrassing company, if it can be called one. Here's the whole story.
I put in an order for two figures in December. One of them was a preorder, marked to be released early January. But as time went on, it kept getting pushed back.
Not to be disenchanted, I put in another order for two figures in January. One of them was yet another preorder, slated to be released in March.
March rolls around, and the first preorder is finally released. Hurrah! Except... the order isn't shipping. It's marked "Ready to Ship", but it's. Not. Shipping. I send in two emails, no responses. I send another in a slightly stern flavor, finally get a response, and with their permission, decide to cancel the second preorder because they're just too much hassle. I get the refund nice and promptly, and the website shows my account adjusted to fit the facts.
April rolls around, and both orders are marked Ready to Ship. Wondering why they're not shipping, I check them again... and the preorder has never been taken off the order. I send in two emails, no responses.
So today I call them up. The kid that answers is just that, a kid. Must've been 15, cracking voice and all. He had no clue what he was doing, and eventually said so, after some time of "uuhhhhh"ing. In the end I actually had to lead him through figuring out the mess.
In doing so, we find out that, though all three figures are marked as "In Stock" and my orders marked "Ready to Ship", one of the figures (the one I wanted the most) is missing. So I'm finally told they'll ship the two they have, and the third "whenever we find it" (his exact words).
In conclusion, the next time a shiny figure catches my eye, I will NOT be preordering, and I certainly won't be using ToysLogic. They just don't have their act together.
