[Introductory Exercises]
[Sets down a stack of papers on his desk for the start of his first class and also brings in the suggestion box]
[He begins to write down suggestions from the box up onto the blackboard.]
Everyone be sure to take a piece of blank paper from my desk. We shall start today with a writing exercises. I understand you all know each other fairly well but i know nothing about you guys. So i want you all to write a couple of sentences about yourselves and then pass it on to your colleagues who will write something about who ever the paper belongs to until everyone has written something and then hand it back to me.
When you are done please take another piece of paper and vote for which book you are interested reading this term. You can only vote for one book and when you're done place it in the suggestions box.
