2006

Jan 02, 2006 23:18

I have never been more excited on New Year's Eve. Instead of feeling astonished that the year's almost over, I couldn't wait to move on to 2006.

It's not that 2005 was bad, not at all. In fact, it has been one of the best. I won't waste the time to describe every event, and plus, merely describing them won't do them justice. The tears, the laughter, the drama, the endless phone conversations, the bonfires, the dancing/singing, the mall, regaining lost friends (oh how great of a feeling that was), making new friends, the fights, the make-ups, cups, physics, and... so much more. I can't express how lucky I am. I have two caring parents who will forever be 100% behind me, great friends, elders who are like second parents to me, and a guy who I can rely on no matter what.

Second day of 2006. This is going to be tough year, no doubt. I know a lot of stress is going to accompany this last semester of High School, and all I can do is give a huge hug to all of you who will have to listen to my endless complaining. With High School approaching to an end, I'm not sure what will change, and how much will change. All I can hope is that everything turns out alright. College will be different, it'll be challenging, and it'll be away from Athens. But it's comforting to know that my friends will be my friends. Forever.

I love you guys! :)
