It's out...
I was so frustrated last night that I went to bed feeling so tired (well I was tired to begin with... even before that whole "this video is private" issue)
So here we have the latest MV from Leehom...
How do I feel?
1. I really didn't like the cut from the teaser... as in the music. Too non-Leehom-ish... too repetetive.. and I hate those in a song.. especially the auto tune stuff.
2. I do admit the song is VERY CATCHY. Even that repetitive part that I dislike... it already grew on me... but I think after a few years, the appeal will be lost to me... as much as his upbeat older songs (from gaishiyingxiong to the newer ones). It's been on loop for the past few days.
3. I'm sure if kpop fans here hear this song, they'll like it... it's so much like kpop in the sense of using auto tune... people say it's beyond kpop... but well... that's how I heard/saw it since the preview. The only difference is the language.
4. Speaking of language... I was really "blah" on this from the teaser... but THE ENGLISH LYRICS nailed it for me. I like it more than when I first heard it... Leehom + English = very awesome... Leehom + English + deep lyrics = WIN!
5. I find his usual mannerisms funny now... and a little annoying sometimes...
a. the collar flip/raise(?)/jacket fix - which mv has this? there's one I'm sure. It's so familiar
b. the "no way" action - re used as well
c. look and point up - Simple song? hehe... probably more
d. air drumming - simple song! hahaha getting tired of seeing this to be honest
e. fight stance (i think i saw this in another mv before)
f. "frame" --> I love this!!!! <3 very cute haha
6. I found some of the dance steps to be corny... especially the first few dance scenes
7. His hair looks familiar... hehe no bad reactions with this... I kinda like it
8. Fiery dragon clef at the end is so epic. I love it
9. I respect the fact that he did all his stunts.
10. "It's like watching china strike force + avenging fist" --> from friends.. hahaha.. true. I want him in an "avenging fist" like movie again sometime in the future. I liked the action there.

To add to last night's frustration with the mv loading....
we learned that his next concert tour in taiwan will be in NOVEMBER
birthday month but I'm not too happy about it. I am very busy for my birthday month since it's family celebrations month (dad's bday, their anniv and my bday all in a span of 2 weeks) so yeah... i don't think i can really go...
sadness...
