pc...
still not the post i was promising... this will just be quick...
so i had my pc checked yesterday... it wasnt the power supply that was broken... it was the motherboard... so i ended up paying for a new one which was much simpler than the old (kinda regretting this... i don't have firewire anymore >.<) anyway... so we got it connected and the windows installation is asking me to get it verified... argh... it wouldn't connect (i think it still needs a telephone connection (yes... not LAN how annoying) so there... i will have to reinstall windows... so it will take a while
i still want to back up my system files (im sentimental about my YM archive... it's been logging all my chats since 2005!!) and the my documents folder where i have my screenshots and some files friends sent through msn...
so there... it should be easy but my brother's pc (my old one) can't detect the sata hdd O_o weird since i had a similar setup on that pc before when i was still using it..
will get pc working again as soon as i get a decent (msdn) copy of xp (or might try win7) and back up the files i still have on the windows partition... wish me luck... hopefully it will be up and running even before my weekend work this saturday... gaaah...

well it's official -- (the new guy, let's call him J) gave me this link to confirm it is true... hehehe been doubting it all along eversince someone texted me the info... im so disconnected lately...
