(this was written earlier at work and just posted now)
I just realized that I never really liked American artists. (Leehom not included since he’s Chinese by blood)
The only English-speaking artists I’ve ever listened to are either from the UK/Ireland or from Canada.
I started off with the band called "The Corrs". As you all know, they’re four Irish siblings with great talent in music and with their own musical instruments.
Then there was "Blue". They’re four British LADS (Lee, Anthony, Duncan, Simon). They have great voices that I can probably compare to DBSK now. I don’t know about their talent with musical instruments but their acapellas are soothing.
For a short time I was interested in "Busted" and they’re another British group. They’re made up of three guys.
Both of the British bands I’ve been listening to are now disbanded though. But two of the members of Blue already have their solo careers.
After that started the pop/punk stage where I started listening to "Simple Plan" and Avril Lavigne. Both hail from Canada. And I even had the chance to score free tickets to their concert here.
Which reminds me that I’ve seen these artists concerts when they went here (with exception to Busted)
Then I came to know F4 and the rest is history. No more new English-speaking bands caught my attention.
