I am a sick, sick girl....
Wow... I can't remember the last time I was this sick.... I have a fever, I am all stuffy and coughing and nasty... and overall weak feeling.
I didn't make it to my 9:00am... couldn't get out of bed... literally... gravity seemed to have an extraordinary amount of pull on my body this morning... finally around 10ish i was able to get up (partially cause I really REALLY had to pee).
At this point I know I HAD TO go to my 1 o'clock class cause it is the Canadian Gothic seminar course.... and participation/attendance is like 20% of your mark. I had finished the assigned readings in Wacousta but I still felt unprepared, and with my foggy, sick brain (even my ears are clogged) I was kinda worried about answering any questions that may be thrown at me (the prof. does that a lot).
So I get to class armed with a coffee, kleenex, & Halls, and cough, sneeze and sniff my way through the one hour class, giving these AMAZING answers.... I was answering questions the rest of the class got stumped on.. I swear I was the star of the lecture... so that makes me feel really good cause a good grade in this class will mean a lot on my transcript. I am also really getting into the whole gothic romance genre... the hidden themes and stuff are really interesting.
I am gonna lay down now... see if I can make it to my night class... Spanish... I don't know, I know I should go, but I have been getting worse all day and I need to be better by the weekend.
