HELLO WORLD, I AM ALIVE.

I am also hyper like I don't even know what to do with myself.

The cumulative evangelicalism was harder than I expected, but I still did pretty okay by myself. It's entirely possibly I made up an entire answer to an entire essay question that was completely wrong, but I figure even if I get zero points for it, I'll still get an A. Right on. Oh, and by the way, I got a A on that paper on glossolalia. (Dear Jacob, thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I'm actually being completely sincere. You saved my life the final Wednesday night I was writing that paper.)

And history! Oh, 20th-century Eastern European history! Class that I totally underestimated and blew off for the bulk of the semester and then scrambled to learn all the material for in about two months. I love you. I love you for having a really hard final exam... that I knew all the answers to. And that I finished an hour early. Before anyone else. And for on my way out the door, picking up my Wikipedia entry, which I got a B+ on, which was better than I expected. Yessss.

Guys, I'm not going to fail college. And guys, I am officially a sophomore.

I didn't even make it home without stopping and getting a manicure and pedicure in bright, bright pink, and calling all four parents to tell them I was a sophomore. (They were all pretty much, "That's great, Tink. Um. But you're still already 24. You might want to keep this milestone to yourself.") I also saw Emily at the nail place, where we compared pen-marks in strange places on our skin. (I tend to get them on my chin, when I start thinking hard and rest my chin the hand that is still holding the pen. Em had a big blue splotch on her right cheekbone.)

Now I'm attempting to rehydrate with my first non-caffeinated beverage in 72 hours and semi-waiting for JJ to call so I can take him out to dinner, which he deserves, after handling gracefully the snippy jerkface I turned into after my exam last night, and heating me up leftover spaghetti and corn to boot. And tonight - although I can't stay up late, because I have to work at 6.30 in the morning - I'm going to laze around and eat something awesome (either cookies or chips) and knit, play Civilization on my laptop, or read. Read whatever I want.

I love summer.
