lennon's on sail again
okay, it's time for an update.
first off, aaron's going away party is going to be on june 24th at jamboozies. that is located at 18 and van dyke road. it starts at 8pm and there's going to be free pizza, wings, and salad until 10pm. the more the merrier, so tell all of your friends. there will also be karaoke hosted by none other than jon riley of faux entertainment. he's there every sunday and tuesday and is at skorz on 15 and ryan every wednesday.
last friday, i call up jon riley and see what he's up to. i ended up stopping by his house to check out his system again. the mother fucker is awesome. anyway, he needed to go to radioshack to pick up a few things. we knew it was around 23 and gratiot, but didn't know the exact location. we checked the plaza across from lowes and also the one by the movie theater. nothing. jon calls 411 quick connect. we get the number to radioshack and were told by the radioshack rep that they are in the plaza across from lowes. now, we had already been there and didn't see the place. we go back and sure enough it's there. they just didn't have the sign that we're all used to..
we were spending all of our time looking for the big red "R" instead of just looking for the name. what a bunch of morons we are.
later that evening, jon and i went out to hamtramck to see perfect summer play. they did a pretty good job considering that they had like a 45 minute sound check, there wasn't anybody there, and the guy running their sound doesn't know a fucking thing about it. one good thing was that we got to play raiden II. that game is so addicting that i want to purchase it.

well what else is going on in my world? i went to lilly's on monday night and got some dollar beers with jon and christina. there was some crazy drunk bitch that was sitting on one of the bar chairs and she leaned back and hit her head against the ground. they ended up getting her to her feet, but then she fell back into a table again, but continued to drink. i guess that she is there quite often in that state and is nicknamed "the helmet." nice piece of work.
wednesday night i went to skorz for another night of insanity. there had to be about 8-10 of the hottest girls in the world there that night. genevieve was proposed to and said yes. i'm sure she was drunk and had no idea what was going on. later that night i told her that she needs to hook me up with one of her friends and she said "why would i do that? i'm the one that has a crush on you and i've been hitting on you all night and you haven't even noticed." i told her "well it could be the ring on your finger that's a turn off." she's super hot, but not all there.
i've also been asked by a girl at work to tutor her in pre-calc. she's super hot as well and i think i'm going to take her up on the job...and maybe ask her out for a drink one day. it never hurts to ask.
i'm not really sure what's going on this weekend. i don't have a lot of cash to spend, so i'm looking forward to doing something relatively cheap and low key. if there's anything fun to do, please hit a brother up.
