[Al is seated(!!) in a wheel chair in his room, trying not to look too eager as he waits for Eris to arrive. Just sitting here, yup, reading his book. And waiting. And trying not to watch the door.]

N-no! Of course not! I just didn't know what you had planned...

... Me neither. I've never been on a real date before.

What would you like to do? I can move around and everything!

Can you walk?

Only a few steps... but I'm getting pretty good with the chair. [He hesitates. Is that a deal breaker? He's working on it... really.]

Oh, so you can roll around? Is there anyplace around the hospital that's worth visiting?

[ironysoul]

[He wrinkles up his nose.] Not unless you really like the cafeteria or the gift shop...

[huntedwitch]

[she giggles]

Then we can stay in here! Do you get room service or something?

[ironysoul]

Sure! [He laughs.] No ice cream though, they said you're cut off.

I wonder if I could get some and smuggle it in.

Probably! You could get movies, too... I mean, if that's what you want.
