[000] Open Log: Month 3

[This is an open RP log for visiting Al during the third month of his recovery. He will be in a medically induced coma for the first week of this month.

10 minutes? Pfft yeah right.

[There's no way in hell they will displace Ed after ten minutes and he will be sitting there, all day every day while Al is in a coma. Half the time he will be sleeping against the railing, and the other half, grasping Al's hand tightly.]

[Somewhere around the sixth day, he's getting somewhat desperate at watching Al sleep.]

Hey Al...aren't you better yet? Honestly...

[He scoffs.]

We're all here you know, hanging out, spending time with you. How rude is it to sleep through it all?

[Ed smiles just a bit.]

Hohenheim told me he told you about himself. That ass, huh? [His tone softens.] We owe him so...[He swallows and sits up a bit.]

Alphonse Elric, you get better right now. Winry and I have a wedding to have and we only have nine months to get you ready. I mean...if Hohenheim is going to die in a year and this memory...I want to give it to him so...if this is the case, then you damn well better get ready!

[They'd taken Al off the sedatives a few days ago. Now it was just a matter of waiting for them to flush from his system so he could wake up normally. But so far, he hasn't. He hasn't changed much at all since the first night they brought him here -- not breathing on his own, his heart barely beating.

But his eyes shift under his eyelids as he hears Ed's voice.]

Okay, Brother. [He whispers it -- if Ed wasn't listening, he might miss it entirely.]

[cyberelric]

[Of course he's listening!]

Damn right. You will get better, Al!

[ironysoul]

[And that's the first sign of life Al has shown since they put him under.]

[cyberelric]

[And Ed is grinning, pleased, but Al doesn't look like he's getting up so, he can sit quietly, holding Al's hand.]
