End of an Era
Today is officially the first day of AME.
Maxwell Edison has offically broken up, for those of you that know what that means to me, i'm deeply truely sad. They're shows single handedly kept me from depression my first 6 months living in florida. That band, and those guys have become some of my closest friends, introduced me to the guy that is becoming this fantastic part of my life, and has tied me to this town, and made me feel like i belonged somewhere....finally.
so forgive me if i get a bit choked up.
But, if it had to end...last night was the perfect goodbye to that era. The boys played a fantastic show, everyone showed up, i got to see collin's parents, meet joe's cousin, hang with the girlies, and witness some good hearted drunken crazyness. Afterwards, the party was awesome, we all got hammered, i got to pretend that Candace was my significant other, i played nurse to joe when cloves turned out to be a TERRIBLE idea, i got to see mia take sips of warm whiskey from a flask, 'Sid Vicious' showed up and hilarity insued, etc. etc. it made me so happy.
and now i'm on my way to a fire, with good friends, and great conversation.
PS. the boys, i have decided, have 'exotic taste in women'.....I'm imported from boston, Collin's girl lives in NY state, and the Austin's girly (at least for the weekend) flew in from LA. hahahahaha
pss. no update on joe coming to the 'tundra'
