In which Watari and Mamie ponder Valentine's Day date fortune cookies.
Mamie: *supposes she can be charitable to a former employee*~
Watari: *would care if he could*
Mamie: *ponders on date-oriented fortune cookies*
Watari: Just don't let Nanami make up the fortunes.
Mamie: That could be pretty fascinatin' though, you know? *sneaky grin*
Watari: the fortunes, yes. Nanami's version of them? no.
Mamie: You think you can do better? Those things're hard to write, you know!
Watari: She has to at least make them romantic.
Mamie: ... Good point. >_> *scrubs at some gunk on the stove* Maybe she's matured by now an' she's up for the challenge.
Watari: ......
Mamie: ...I sure as heck ain't writing them!
Watari: Well, hire someone else then.
Mamie: Y'mean a writer jus' for cookies? Who here is th'most romantic?
Watari: *thinks* Percival.
Mamie: ... *mulls this over in her head for a moment* Are you sure it's not all looks? 'Cuz you can look pretty, but it doesn't mean you can write pretty.
Watari: He's a gentleman knight and attracts ladies like flies.
Mamie: I guess I can give it a shot. *scratches the side of her hat with her spatula* Tho' it still would be nice to have your help~
Watari: Naturally. Have you put that cookbook to use?
Mamie: I've been pullin' here an' there. I'd like to try my hand at a pot pie for the winter weather.
Watari: I find soup's more filling and warming.
Mamie: Soup? But all that flaky pie crust is pretty filling to. Then again, soup keeps longer an' I dun' have t'worry about getting as much meat....
Watari: *nods*
