Hello

So! We made it to Canada. There were doubts, gripped legs and white knuckles at varying points during the journey (some were from the bumps in the air, some were from watching new episodes of the l word, some were from weird people sitting next to us...you figure it out).

We stopped oh so briefly in Hong Kong. It was totally amazing and we were all tempted to blow off our shows and stay in Hong Kong and celebrate capitalism but we clearly didn't.

So Canada ey? Ross and I got picked up in customs. I don't really know why but we got sent off somewhere else and the man with beard had to come rescue us. I couldn't resist asking the customs officer if we looked like trouble. She gave me a dead pan Yes. I figured that was the end of our friendship.

Before we even got off the plane it was snowing. I think it was -10c when we arrived. Yeah so obviously it's pretty cold. I feel like a little kid with all the layers on. Oh man and the locals all walk around with no gloves on and thin jackets. They are all like 'balmy weather ey?'...kinda like when I walk around in my bikini at home and look super comfortable and tourists are sweating buckets...

Okay so that's all. Oh we did go to Niagara Falls today. Such a crazy place. My dad told me before I left that at one point (probably 1964 - 1966) it was the most popular honeymoon destination in the U.S. This kind of marred my experience because I was trying to figure out what percentage of the population may have been conceived there.

Our first show is on Thursday and the Indies are on tomorrow night. Will keep you posted...hopefully.
