What sort of magic users are you looking for?

[Though by the sounds of it, probably not a healer, but she figured that it wouldn't hurt to ask.]

Though I would be more than willing to help out with decorations. A ball sounds like it would be a lot of fun and I'm glad to hear that someone is hosting one!

Miss Estellise.

Mostly the kind of magic that moves crap. Enchantments, charms. Whatever you want to call them. Manipulation of fire and light is also a plus.

Gotta end the year with a bang, and if I'm good at anything, it's banging.

I do have some light-based artes, however it wouldn't be what you need to light up a room. My friend can summon fire, though. Would you like me to see if she would like to help out?

[Because Rita can't resist Estelle when she asks... maybe... she'll try!]

I'm also a healer. [She says this rather proudly,] I can raise barriers as well if you need a spell like that as a form of security.

[And that last portion...] ...banging what? Unless that's a term that refers to the sound of fireworks, then that would make sense.

I'm mostly interested in the evening light show- lighting up the room isn't a concern or even a thought right now.

[Ohhh?]

So you're saying if I want to host this fire show indoors, you'd have the capabilities to retain it to prevent injuries and lawsuits.

[INTERESTING. But then he grins.]

Miss Estellise, I'm not sure you want to know. Again.

I don't think it would be wise to host such a show indoors, however if any such injuries were to occur, I would be capable of healing them.

[Her thoughts go to protecting the people first, not supporting crazy ideas that could potentially hurt people.

And then that tone. Don't worry, Tony, she's a smart girl and can figure things out... And she has, as her face turns a light shade of red.]

O-oh...

An on-site medic would definitely be helpful. A lawsuit would just be a pain in the ass.

[Snort]

Let's focus on the party, shall we?

[And focus on the party she will, since it seems he’s requesting the services of a healer!]

I would be more than willing to serve as a medic, if you would like!

[And she’d do it for free!]

It would definitely be an asset. Though I have to ask- if you've been trapped in your home all day, how'd you learn? First aid and all that.

Well, it's an ability I have. I'm a healer.

Magic again? I swear it's like I'm a wizard magnet right now.

Are you unfamiliar with magic? But you just asked for magic users...

Because I knew they existed- hard not to be aware of them when one of them electrocutes you. But it's not too common where I'm from.

In my world, everyone is capable of using magic given they have--ah--the correct piece of technology attached to them, so it's very common where I am from, as long as you're willing to learn the spells.

So magic enabled through technology. I haven't quite heard of it nor have I tried to imagine it, but it's certainly plausible.

Yes, that is correct. We use a piece of technology called a 'blastia', which it takes what is called 'aer' from our world and converts it into a formula so it enables us to use magic.

[Not even going to mention that she's a slightly special case...]

Sounds familiar. Think there's someone in the labs working on something like that. Huh- I'll have to actually swing around and take a look at it, then.
