Every compliment in the book and you go with my hair- did you see the narcissism part of the list?

No, I'm afraid my attention went entirely to the sum and parts of your resume that implied, what was it? Ah...yes. Genocide.

Of course, not to fuss, I would never, but - you might want to be more precise with these things. It matters quite a deal to an employer if we're speaking the mass destruction of a village, or a city, or a country... nuances, you understand?

If you're trying to pull some kind of weird philosophical theory on me, it's not going to work. Slept through those classes in undergrad and never thought twice about them afterward. Descartes can suck it.

No, darling-dear, I'm asking how many people you killed. And complimenting your hair!

Wow- are you always this tactful?

...only when gentlemen mention weapons of mass destruction. Would I rather I layered more compliments first? Your eyes, perhaps? You've both, don't you?

And creepy to boot.

I don't do weapons anymore.

...see? Something for your 'nice' list, after all.

I assure you, your attempts to cheer me up are appreciated and largely effective. It's like a night of Ben & Jerry's without the calories.

Now, now. You mention murder, of course someone'll ask. Hardly any need, well, perhaps the slightest need for a temper.

Mad? There's a popular saying here, and it mostly goes: I ain't mad though.

There's nothing to be angry about. Except, you know, digging up a bunch of crap from the past with absolutely no context.

If you think-believe-suppose mass destruction admits context, I want to hear it.

If this were a court of law? Yes.

If this were a court of law, no one'd want to hear it, they'd invent your context and your reasons and bring your shackles.
