[She's watching this, completely awe-struck. And impressed. And kind of worn out because she's been cooking all damn day so she's too out of it to notice it's playing her reaction.]

Jesus. That suit is amazing.

Iron Man. [Thoughtful pause.] So you're a hero like Steve. Very cool.

[Except now she's feeling a bit pleh about doing nothing more with her ability save for that Big Fire she caused that one time that incinerated a mass of idiot scientists.]

Huh. Interesting.

[Pausing.] You want to hear a sort of funny story about Steve?

[audio just for Tony since she figured out how to do this.]

Okay, so. When Bucky got here, I was the first to run into him. I already knew about him because of Steve telling me about him and so I text Steve. It wasn't a very fair text, all I told him was to hurry to where I was. Didn't tell him why so being Steve and my friend, he must have thought something awful happened or was happening.

So about four minutes later, he comes running up with his shield, which was kind of neat to see. And kind of cool to think he was coming to my rescue. But, and this was probably him improvising or something, I don't know. He had a metal bowl on his head. On the one hand, he was thinking of his safety or something.

[But on the other, it was still a metal bowl.] I asked him if he was getting a haircut.

What a shame- I would have liked to see him in his costume.

[right? Charlie's laughing, remembering the moment pretty well. And in an effort to keep Hypnos away because the cat really likes that device, she inadvertently switches to video. Charlie is seated on her bed in her room, Dressed for sleep.]

Oh...thanks, stupid cat. That's just what I need. I don't think he has the costume here. If he does, I haven't seen it.

No. I'm an insomniac. I don't think I'm going to be sleeping tonight, as usual, but I'm here just in case. And I'm glad I was awake, too. I got to see your suit in action. That was very impressive.
