I knew they were going to have to change those around, that was a super ambitious schedule before. Though I am mildly disappointed because the Avengers was supposed to come out on my birthday :D That's ok, Thor and Cap are close enough.

I have to admit, though, that I kind of feel like Iron Man II is getting a little bit screwed over. Favreau had said a while back that he felt they were rushing things and was concerned about having time to do the sequel properly.

Now, all the other films are being pushed back and getting more time to prepare?

I don't know. I might be over-thinking things now. Lol.

Yeah. The big action/effect movies tend to take an average of two years including post filming stuff. They really don't have that. It is a little unfortunate, and I hope it turns out on.

On the flip side, I hope they don't try to cram too much into it. The last like.. twenty minutes of Dark Knight was excrutating to me as a writer. I wanted to shout at the screen, "SHOW DON'T TELL, ASSHOLES!" It was standing around and exposing their plots. That's the WORST move they can make, because it makes everything rushed and boring and like.. maybe you should have done this... in the next movie... yeah. I'm hoping that doesn't happen. At this point, I might even be happy if they pushed it back a little. It's not like they have anything cemented in stone like posters on movie theatre walls. Even Star Trek got pushed back after the trailers came out (and the Soloist too). We'll see I guess.

I agree so hard! I keep trying to remind myself that Favs has said he'd like to fashion the Iron Man films as a trilogy like Star Wars where it's basically three parts to one big story. If that's what he's kept in mind, then it might not be as jam packed with characters as it looks. Some of the casting might be small, introductory stuff leading up to the third film.

I'm trying to remain hopeful and give it a fair chance. I'm way too emotionally invested now. Lol.

Yeah. I'm trying to hope too. Especially after the stuff that they were talking about awhile ago how they were going to let Chris Nolan keep all of the dark stuff (Dark Knight was great, but it was so dark that I watched it once since I got it on DVD and have watched Iron Man a couple times a month). That's a plus, that sort of plotline makes things super complicated. It seems like they know what they're doing and yeah. The trilogy idea is great. I'm sure in the end, it'll be a good movie :D
