Month of Sundays since last posting
Hello Everyone,
I made it through the holidays without opening a vein. This is my first holiday season since the divorce so it was weird for me. I went to Louisville for Christmas. My best friend invited me to join his family for their Christmas. He has a huge family with lots of nephews and nieces. I got to meet Tommy's parents, his brother, and his sister. Tommy has put it in his living will that if anything were to ever happen to him and Tina, (his wife), I would get custody of his children. I really feel honored that they would trust me with the rearing of his children. They are great kids.
I got to hang out with Shooie and her bf over the holidays as well. I went to her house for Thanksgiving. I had a great time but I ate too much.
For NYE, I went to a party that was pretty cool. It was supposed to be a sorta biker party but it turned out to be pretty tame. I still had fun. We were up until 5:30. A couple of guys are musicians so they broke out the guitars. I stayed the night to be safe. I was actually sober by the time I went to bed. Let me tell you this...... I don't need to be driving through Oxford Ohio in an '05 Red Mustang GT on New Years morning. I would have been asking for jail time. The adult half of my brain took over on that decision.
