Verse: Wayward - wayward_au - The verse Jo was originally made for and completely not canon. She still runs the Roadhouse and a network to connect hunters across the country called the Roadhouse. Besides that she plays a matronly role in the Winchester family, though whatever future plans she had when it came to Dean changed when Michael re-awoke.

Verse: Detective - It started with this fic and has spiraled into its own thing. Jo is a rookie detective in Special Investigations, partnered with Rufus. Her relationship with her mother is tricky at best. She's recently reconnected with Sam Winchester (likely_evil) who she's starting a relationship with.

Verse: AU Canon - Post "Abandon All Hope". Instead of both Ellen and Jo dying in the episode, right before the explosion Tessa offered Ellen a chance to trade her life to save Jo. She took it. Jo woke up in Bobby's house and has been staying with him sense. For the time being she's giving up hunting and sticking to research.
It will follow canon but since Jo's alive and not dead, it's AU.
