I got a new mattress today. In order to put it on the frame I had, I had to move all of the stuffed animals that occupied the foot of my bed, to the part of my room they didn't occupy. Since I had had to vacuum and shtuff already under my bed, I thought "Hey, I'll vacuum the everywhere in my room." I didn't have a place to put my stuffed animals, so I put them on my bed. There were a lot, so I took a picture.

The worst part about this is there's a story with almost every one of these.

The giant CareBear was given to me by Mandy when I had mono. The two really dirty looking bears (Santa and Mrs Claus) were my very first Christmas present. Doug and Dave insisted I have one in '86, just in case I was born on time. The Santa bear on the left of those two is from '82?, and is from Lola. The two on the right are from 2005. I made Dennis pick up the male one and bring him to me. I called all over the place to get him!

The big bulldog was a present from my grandpa's girlfriend, Lorraine. The little dog between the bulldogs and the panthers was a bribe from Mom last time we were in Kentucky. The first panther is Qbert. Dave says he looks like a bear, but he's a panther. The one next to him is OhZ, and the one next to him is actually a leopard, named Blaize. He called to Ahz, so I made us go back to get him on my last day there. The CareBear Cousin I drove all over the place looking for a few Christmas' ago. I wanted him sooo bad. :) The tiger next to him is named Bengal. He was a gift from Doug for Christmas. A hotdish got spilt on him on the way to dinner. The moose was a bribe from Dad, to get me to stop complaining about the heat at Back to the Fifties one year. The leopard above him was from Lucas, and the white tiger was from Tigress. Stitch is behind them. I got him in Calgary. I went through (okay, I still love it) a Blue's Clues phase, so there's Slippery Soap, Tickity Tock and Blue. The white cat, Sixlet, above Tickity Tock was from WickedSix.

There's a cat there as well (ontop of the panthers) named Comets. I tried to buy him in Calgary on my first trip, but Lucas wouldn't let me. He bought him instead. The name on his tag said "Thomas" but I couldn't have that. His fur looks like comets flying through the sky. Comets went to Germany with me twice. I almost brought him to Oregon but I didn't want to seem... childish. I wish I would have.

I may have a stuffed animal and memory problem.
