Creativity Sunday - State of the World
She would save the world one day. Right now she worked in advertising, and tried not to hear Bill Hicks when she got up every morning. She was vegetarian, and with a real, abiding hatred for the concept of money - "can't we just borrow the things we need from other people? Does every single person need to own a lawnmower that they use once a fortnight?" - but she still had a job, because that was what you did. She would change the world, she was perfectly happy never to be rich if it meant she could make a difference in the world, but for now she was simply feeling around the edges; taking part in rubbish pick-ups, tree plantings and blood drives. She did things, and some day she'd do Things. She just had to figure out exactly what and how first, and till then, well, there were bills to be paid.
