"Somewhat, yes. Thank you," he smiled when she found him. Surrounded by notes and reading materials, a pair of spectacles on his nose, he looked much more the professor he once was.
"It's not pressing that I find this out straightaway. And ... I rather like having someone about to talk to." He leaned back in the chair, pulling off the spectacles and rubbing his eyes.

He held one up, a dusty tome with the title Apparition Anomalies. "I'm trying to find out how I got here and how to get home.

Flip flip flip flip. Another book that hasn't got anything useful in. He closes it, drops it on a stak to his right, and picks the next one.
"Oh. Terribly sorry. Rude of me." He put the book aside, looking up at her again.
