don't ask me how it happened...
somehow, without watching the lectures, and only studying Smokin'Notes for about 24 hours before the exam, I got a B on my second microeconomics midterm! YESSS!
other than that, life is (as I'm calling everything now) eh, except I pronounce it more like "aeugh." (or something like that, anyway.)
I had an amazing weekend, but as soon as the end was in sight, about 7 p.m. Sunday, I crashed and burned. When you're up so high, there's nowhere to go but waaaaaay down. Even though I'm only halfway through, it's been a real "I suck at life!" kinda week. eh.
Our game against FSU is now at noon next saturday. which means we have to drive there pretty freaking early in the morning. which means we can't have practice that morning. which, naturally, means that we now have practice Friday evening. when I was supposed to still be on a plane headed for orlando. however, if that were the case, I would not march at FSU, which would not make me happy. so now I am taking a RED-EYE from Las Vegas. I have a 2 hour layover in atlanta at 5:30 in the morning. 5:30! yeah. this is gonna be soooo much fun.
I have another exam tomorrow that I should be studying for, but guess what? I'm procrastinating. Something new and exciting.
I am also walking that really fine line between being sleep deprived and actually being sick, and I can't quite keep myself from leaning to the side of the latter.
*sigh*
I made a 5 min. appearance at swing, just to say hi and that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I haven't been to swing in close to a month, which not only sucks in real life, it sucks to remember, too. Anyway, I was asked to dance (yay!) by this kid I like to dance with, who leads well and is patient and nice and can actually keep time and who I dance well with. so I was happy :-)
