I've been home for a month, and what have I accomplished??
Not much. I've been working like a mofo.
On the plus side, I was promoted to be a "shift supervisor", which basically means that I can be in charge and close the store and do other meaningless things.
On the down side, I pretty much hate going to work now. I hate my boss, as does everyone else, and other people's bad attitudes really get to me. I don't get paid enough to deal with the bullshit they feed me over there.
Which brings me to my next point: my paycheck. How do they expect me to be in charge when I get paid the same amount as the people I'm supposed to be in charge of???? I plan on bringing up this issue with my manager tomorrow, actually. I'm going to tell him flat out thatif they don't give me a raise, then I dont want all this extra responsibility.
I feel like I made a mistake in sharing this with some people at work, because they can gossip like the best of them.
Anyways, wish me luck. Hopefully he says yes.
