Jeez, I haven't posted anything here since '08? :(
Sorry I've been so absent from most of my f-list for such a long time! Sometimes I can't think of anything to say, or I'll see a bunch of posts about a fandom I'm not in, so I don't comment. Then I end up getting into the bad habit of not commenting at all because I feel weird about popping up out of the blue when I haven't commented in someone's LJ for ages. If anyone wants to drop me from their f-lists because of my absence, or we just have divergent fannish interests now or whatever, feel free to do so. I'm not going to cull my f-list right now, but I may do so later on.
Anyway, I'm starting to feel a bit more like using my journal again. There won't be much RL stuff here; primarily just fandom-related musings, and maybe the occasional piece of original art. (In fact, there probably won't be a lot of activity going on here in general, since I do most of my fandomy posting in communities.) So, expect to see me around somewhat more often.
My dad just bought me and my sisters laptops. :D They're nothing special, but they're adequate for our needs. I'm getting mine set up right now. I'll be keeping my PC, but it needs to have a fan replaced.
Dad's visiting us for about a week. Today we visited my middle sister, and we all went out to the Portland Japanese Garden. I've been wanting to go for years. It was really beautiful. I'll put up a few pictures later. Tomorrow, a day trip to the coast.
Pa and I are going to see DH2 sometime later this week. Can't wait! I expect to cry like a baby, though...
