Down by the river..
Well tonight I went and sat down by a little river after work. I was sort of nice but it was lonely.
As I was thinking about things I seen a leaf floating down the water and well the moon was shining down through the trees and the leaf was floating between the light and the dark. When it went throught where the moon was shinning you could see it, then when the leaf was going through the shadow of the trees you couldn't see it at all. Well I felt like the leaf... passing through life through the dark and the light. Im not sure how much more of the dark I can take though before I just wash away and drown.
After an hour or so of all that I headed home down old lonely Smoke Road. The whole time still thinking so heavily about life that I pretty much halucinated the whole way home. I made it home safely surprisingly. There was a couple of times when I would shut off my head lights when I was between two cornfields on each side of me (thats good ole Indiana for you) but anyways you couldn't seen a freaking darn thing thats for sure. I would just drive in complete darkness, it probably wasn't the safest thing in the world but whatever. Such a lonely dark road. But what a thrill to be driving down it at midnight with the complete darkness surrounding me and my car.
And now I am here...again... laying on my bed, watching a movie, typing my life away a little at a time. hmmm... I guess im done, im alive and im here for a little while longer I guess!
