Last Night and Today.

It's been interesting with school starting and it's going to be a great semester. Last night I went to Chi Alpha. They're looking for a soundboard guy and since no one else, except those in the band, knew how to run it, I went on ahead and babysat it for the night. I think it was pretty good overall. My only complaint is when the drummer gets carried away and plays so loud that it almost drowns out everything and all the mics pick up the drums on top of it all. One of the cords had a problem so I changed it. At least it seemed to have a problem. It was fun doing sound, yet again. At least I didn't have to do the powerpoint at the same time. Other people attended to that.

I played video games for the rest of last night and I woke up a bit late this morning. I didn't feel like going to sleep. It was so surreal, I felt like if I went to sleep that I'd wake up from a dream. I'm not use to being accepted by my peers at school so easily. I feel more at home in the physics department in the last three days than I've felt in the music community over the last 10 years. I guess that says a lot there.

I probably should be doing the reading for my classes, but I'll probably save that for those long days that I have nothing else better to do than read a book and study. Especually since I'll spend around 12 hours at the school. Odds are, if you know where to look for me, you'll find me there
