I'm not sure why this popped into my head again, maybe it's the key lime yogurt I'm eating this morning, but I've always wondered why candy companies seem to be replacing their lime flavored candies with sour apple flavor. Has anyone else noticed this? You almost never get a lime flavored lollypop anymore. Why is that? Is lime more expensive to produce? Do companies that also have lemon and orange flavors fear that lime is just too much citrus? I've looked it up, but haven't found an answer and inquiring minds want to, nay, demand, to know.
