Steampunk naturalist progress
Still plugging away on my steampunk naturalist. I'm nearly done with the jacket now, just need to put the buttons on and fix the back part with the pleats, which I'm really afraid is going to give me a headache. Follow the link to pictures. http://www.cosplay.com/gallery/151936/
I've ordered a wig since my hair is neither long enough nor thick enough to accomplish the epic hairdos of the Victorian/Edwardian era, and a couple decorative things to start making a hat. I'm off work for a 4-day weekend thankfully so if I have time in between errands and festivities I'll try and swing by the fabric store and pick up this pattern: www.butterick.com/item/B4210.htm (the hat on the upper left with all the flowers and things on it).
So it's coming along, slowly, but steadily.
