I finally got the laser table complete. it took a bit, but I like it
Top is 3/4 Birch plywood. hole cut out for the steel honeycomb laserbed, supported by the framing, so it sits flush. Laser is now bolted in place for superior accuracy.
Of course, before I bolted it, I had to laser etch the logo onto the top
I also have the one fan setup to blow the smoke away, and it's done a good job. there's so much working space, and keeping the laptop underneath allows me to still work, even if I'm not using the laser. this was such a good idea.
I do need to upgrade the laser so I can cut more stuff, and there is an upgrade kit, but I really need to sell some stuff and get the studio self sufficient. Now is the perfect time. I have been working on some ideas, nothing worth doing a kickstarter for. I want to do more for the patreon, but I don't have any patreons yet. I just cant seem to find my people.
Im making a leather hat, a leather dice rolling tray, and a leather mask. we'll see if that gets me any leather work.
thanks for Reading
