Meaningless cv. jargon.
"Results-driven, process-oriented development professional dedicated to improving the quality of life for vulnerable and marginalized individuals and communities, with an interest in how organizations approach learning in order to more effectively achieve mission. Sectoral expertise in education, community development, social movements and human rights, land issues, and disaster risk reduction."
My eyes glaze over and I wonder who is impressed when I read a c.v. like the above. He is apparently a worker for a Catholic Aid agency. Why can't people just say what they mean.
e.g. I am a professional qualified person who tries to get results through example to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged individuals and communities. I have special interest in ways of helping organisations to achieve their objectives. I have experience in the areas of education, community development, human rights, land issues and disaster risk reduction.
Cut out the crap and people might actually listen to you.
