Of course I'd make a good spy. I'm frequently mistaken for James Bond.
That raises the question of whether James Bond actually makes a good spy, looking so James Bond-like as he always does. Did you ever think about that? For the greatest secret agent in the world (other than Nick Fury and Danger Mouse), Bond spends a hell of a lot of time introducing himself to people. You'd think that word would get around.
All right then. So I'd make a better spy than James Bond. I've got the charm, I've got the gadgets, and I actually have the ability to hold on to a secret identity for an extended period of time. I know what you're all saying: "Iron Man was his body guard. Who ever believed that?" Well, I bet all of you did, at one point or another. You believed it enough, anyway, that when I came out and told the world, you were surprised. Maybe you couldn't believe it was true, or maybe you just couldn't believe I said it.
Espionage is about choosing an identity and sticking to it, and expressing yourself with the right amount of confidence to sow doubt in the observer.
Maybe Bond does know what he's doing.
