OOC: Tony & Henry, a lesson in management

Nov 07, 2007 21:48

From this week's issue of The Order, two of my pups have a chat. Tony wears a pink shirt, and Henry (onetime_actor) uses the word "stressy." Just to prove that I'm not making this up:

In which Henry is stressy but totally did NOT lose a team member.. . . )

My pup would like to comment that Tony looks really hot in that first panel. And also that there is a reason that he, and not Tony, tends to be the field leader on missions.

Tony looks awesome in the first panel -- I sort of want to icon that; real men wear pink shirts. Don't ask me what is up with the eyes, though, for either of them. I have issues with the colorist, and possibly also the inker, on this book. The pencils of Barry Kitson's art seem to look much better than the finish product, and seriously in the second panel? Henry looks like the girl in Heroes who bleeds death out of her eyes, or however that works.

You know what else is great here? The fact that Henry, who spends all this time outside fighting zobos, is totally pasty, and Tony, who spends all his time locked in an office or shut up in a robot suit, has an excellent tan. Because of course he can pay for one. (And, ok, is also at least part Italian.)

I do think it's interesting, while I may bitch about the coloring, that they made the actor who played Tony more Anglo -- or more Germanic, anyway -- than the real guy. Because that's totally what would happen.
